As the population of the Hudson Valley grows every day, so too does the need for desirable housing in the region. In southern Ulster County, Marlboro is seeking to fill this niche in the housing market with Hudson West, a new luxury apartment complex in the scenic town. Created by local development partners Baxter Development and Rieger Homes, Inc., the apartment community recently announced its completion and grand opening in October.
Located off Hudson West Drive in the heart of Marlboro, the new complex offers scenic views, modern amenities, proximity to major highways and public transportation, and pet-friendly units. The project fully completed construction in early October, and leasing opportunities are now available with more than 70-percent of the units already under contract.

A total of 104 pet-friendly residences across five buildings comprise Hudson West, with 84 two-bedroom apartments of approximately 1,100 square feet of space and 20 three-bedroom apartments of approximately 1,400 square feet of space. Inside, each unit features walk-in closets, kitchen islands with quartz countertops and stainless-steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, and balconies or patios. In addition to private amenities, Hudson West boasts onsite conveniences like a fitness center, a clubroom with plenty of green space for outdoor activities and pets, electric vehicle chargers, Wi-Fi access, and 24/7 emergency maintenance.
With the seclusion of its wooded hill location, the apartment complex offers residents the privacy and stunning Hudson River views of a retreat while being minutes from Marlboro’s businesses and attractions, including top wineries and distilleries, gourmet dining, and a safe school district. Lessees can expect to pay monthly rental rates in the range of $2,495 to $3,750, with promotional pricing currently available.
