A former copper mine is gaining a new life as the site of new luxury getaway homes by Lang Architecture, the firm behind the successful Hudson Woods development in Kerhonkson.
The new project at the base of Windham Mountain sits on 76.5 acres, close to the Windham Mountain ski resort and across the street from the Windham golf club. Plans call for nine detached single-family homes and 25 clustered homes. A number of upgrades will be available for both home types.
Each clustered home has 3 bedrooms in about 2,100 sq ft. The single-family homes start at 3,000 sq ft, with upgrades that include enlarging the square footage. They will have 3 bedrooms, large wrap-around decks, and mountain views.
Lang Architecture is planning this project on the heels of its 26 carefully curated, eco-friendly, wood-and-glass modern homes on 131 acres at Hudson Woods.
