Sullivan County’s first commercial winery, which opened to the public in 2007, produces four or five red and white wines each year, including two estate wines. Tours of the newly built, 40-foot deep wine cave are offered on Saturdays at this eco-friendly vineyard. Tastings, patio, live music every Saturday, views and access to the adjacent Bashakill wetlands, friendly sheep.
SIP THIS: The 2010 Black Bear Cabernet Franc, which beat out a Millbrook Chardonnay to take Best in Show at the Hudson Valley Wine Competition last year.
