The creamery is operated on the property of a 450-acre family dairy farm. With roots in the 19th century, Amy and her husband Tim are the 7th generation of Bellvale Farm owners, running the creamery as well.
On April 1, Bellvale Farms Creamery will open for the 2017 season with a few changes. Construction on a new retail space has been underway since the fall, with room for more freezer space and seating. Outdoor handicap parking will allow for greater accessibility, while the addition of walk-up windows are expected to ease lines and help with crowd management.

As for icy eats, Amy notes the expansion of their non-dairy offerings, like sorbet, as well as coconut and almond-based ice cream. And if you’re on board with the matcha craze, Bellvale is working on a new green tea flavor for the summer. Get yours through October 31.
