Luckily, dozens of restaurants in our region will be rolling out the red carpet for mamas on May 9 and offering big, bountiful brunch spreads. And what’s better than sitting down to the table with your loving family? Well, how about having your children sit at another table — at least for a while? That’s the plan at Westchester’s Tarrytown House this year. While mom enjoys a lavish buffet, the kids are whisked off to a special kids buffet and crafts table, where not only can they nosh on what they love — think chicken tenders, mac and cheese, etc. — but they can create a one-of-a-kind present for the lady of the day.
