It’s maple syrup season! Here’s one of the Accidental Foodie’s favorite recipes:
- In a small saucepan, combine ¼ cup of maple syrup and 2 tablespoons of grainy mustard
- Boil for a couple of minutes until the mix thickens
- Remove from heat and stir in a tablespoon of Dijon mustard and a tablespoon of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar
- Use as a glaze on chicken, pork or salmon
