Housed in a renovated building that was once part of a lumberyard, this cheerful eatery aims to please a wide range of culinary customers. Standard pub grub — burgers, wings, sandwiches — shares the menu with steaks, chops, and seafood, including the Louisiana Backwoods Bayou Cake (pictured). A variation on the traditional crab cake, this cornmeal-encrusted creation is stuffed with a mixture of crab, shrimp, and crawfish, and served with a spicy citrus rémoulade, giving it a bit of a Cajun kick.
