Using a butter cookie dough as a base, these white chocolate snowflakes are just as fun to decorate with kids as they are to eat.
Makes about 18 cookies
Ingredients:
- ½ Master Dough Recipe (18 oz.)
- 20 oz. white chocolate melting wafers (Merkins, on Amazon)
- White sparkles edible glitter (Wilton)
- 4-mm silver dragées (available on Amazon)
Baking Accessory:
- 3½″ snowflake cookie cutter
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface to an even ¼″ thickness. Cut out shapes and place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 12–14 minutes or until very lightly golden brown.
- Once cooled, dip the entire top of each cookie into melted white chocolate and immediately sprinkle the edges with white glitter. Using a parchment paper cone filled with warm melted white chocolate, apply lines and ornamental embellishments to each cookie and decorate with silver dragées.
