White Chocolate Snowflakes Are the Prettiest Holiday Cookies

Using a butter cookie dough as a base, these white chocolate snowflakes are just as fun to decorate with kids as they are to eat.

Makes about 18 cookies

Ingredients:

  • ½ Master Dough Recipe (18 oz.)
  • 20 oz. white chocolate melting wafers (Merkins, on Amazon)
  • White sparkles edible glitter (Wilton)
  • 4-mm silver dragées (available on Amazon)

Baking Accessory:

  • 3½″ snowflake cookie cutter
Instructions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Roll out dough onto a lightly floured surface to an even ¼″ thickness. Cut out shapes and place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake 12–14 minutes or until very lightly golden brown.
  2. Once cooled, dip the entire top of each cookie into melted white chocolate and immediately sprinkle the edges with white glitter. Using a parchment paper cone filled with warm melted white chocolate, apply lines and ornamental embellishments to each cookie and decorate with silver dragées.
