It’s maple syrup season! Here’s one of the Accidental Foodie’s favorite recipes:

In a small saucepan, combine ¼ cup of maple syrup and 2 tablespoons of grainy mustard

Boil for a couple of minutes until the mix thickens

Remove from heat and stir in a tablespoon of Dijon mustard and a tablespoon of lemon juice or balsamic vinegar

Use as a glaze on chicken, pork or salmon
