Father’s Day is on the way and, whether your old man plans to heat up the grill or kick back with takeout, he’ll want to be armed with a cocktail fit for a king. Make him proud with your newfound bartending skills (we won’t tell) by whipping up one of these three apéritifs, just for him.
1¼ oz Ketel One
½ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz ginger syrup
Pour soda water into Collins glass.
In a shaker with ice, add vodka, lime juice, and ginger syrup. Strain into Collins glass.
Top with black strap rum.
Garnish with a lime wheel.
1 oz Ketel Oranje
½ oz peach liqueur
¼ oz lemon juice
½ oz simple syrup
Shake vodka, peach liqueur, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Strain into Collins glass with ice.
Top with iced tea and garnish with a lemon wedge and mint bouquet.
1 oz Ketel One Citroen
½ oz Laird’s Bonded Apple Brandy
¼ oz maple syrup
1 dash Angostura bitters
In a shaker, stir vodka, apple brandy, maple syrup, and bitters.
Strain into rocks glass with ice.
