Cold Snap Cosmo (Recipe)

Beginning March 4, Bonefish Grill offers the Cold Snap Cosmo: it comes in a glass made completely of ice, and is served with a mitten. Here’s how to make it

On March 4, Bonefish Grill, which has locations in Poughkeepsie, Nanuet, Albany, and Yonkers, debuts its Cold Snap Cosmo, a drink poured into a glass made entirely of ice. Seriously — it’s served with a mitten so you don’t freeze your digits. Though it’s only available at the restaurants until the beginning of April, the folks at our local franchise shared the recipe with us so we can sip year-round.

  • 1.5 oz. Reyka vodka
  • 1 oz. Solerno blood orange liqueur
  • 1 oz. blood orange juice
  • 1 oz. fresh lime simple syrup
  • 1 slice blood orange
  1. Combine all ingredients in a pint glass
  2. Pack full with ice
  3. Shake vigorously 20 times
  4. Strain into a frozen ice glass
  5. Garnish with a fresh blood orange slice on top of the ice
