This tea- and bourbon-based drink is perfect for barbecue season and too tasty to make just one. Mix up a pitcher and you’ll soon be the most popular person in town.
4 cups water
2 Tbsp sugar
5 black tea bags
10 strawberries, sliced
1 cup fresh mint leaves
1½ cups Bulliet Bourbon
1 lemon, juiced
In large saucepan, boil 2 cups of water and sugar. Remove from heat and add tea bags. Steep for 8 minutes; discard bags.
Add 2 more cups of water. Place in a pitcher and chill.
Add mint and strawberries and crush. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
Serve in glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with a mint sprig and a strawberry slice.
