Gaining points on date night has never been easier when you opt to sneak over to Pizzeria Posto. Chef Patrick Amedeo offers seven pies for his guests, all using one little wood-fired oven to continuously crank out a smooth flow of individual pies made as he chats with patrons in the tiny dining room. One of the best is the tomato sauce-free Mama Mia, topped with smoked mozzarella, wood-roasted onions and fennel sausage. You wouldn’t really know about the place unless you stumbled upon it, hidden away in a stone-lined courtyard right in the Village of Rhinebeck. But that’s one of the reasons Posto is such a treasure.
