Oktoberfests, Applefests, and Beer Dinners This Month

October wouldn’t be complete without the Hunter Mountain Oktoberfest, which runs every weekend from September 26 until October 18. Beer lovers can head to the northern Catskills for a weekend of authentic German and German-American entertainment. The 2015 Warwick Applefest kicks off October 4 with over 200 craft vendors, food, a children’s carnival, and an apple pie baking contest. The one-day event began in 1989 and now garners more than 30,000 visitors. (www.warwickapplefest.com)
