Palaia Winery in Highland Mills is a destination of choice for those seeking an atmosphere of great wines, tasty treats and live music. They’re celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and the team (the “Tribe”) have expanded their menu and added items for their guests arriving with a larger appetite.
Besides the ever-flowing list of wines and craft beers, the team traditionally offers their guests snack foods including their crowd-pleasing pizzas and cheese plates (don’t worry, they’re still on the menu). The updated menu was expanded to be even more accommodating to visitors and now includes “more substantial items such as a grilled panini, wraps and desserts,” says Craig Cowton, Operations Manager at Palaia Winery. You can check out their newest menu on their website and just in case you were wondering – everything on the menu is affordable.
Here is a sneak peek of what the team at Palaia Winery has added to the menu:
“Strawberry Fields Salad” ($7)
Description: “Mixed Greens, Walnuts, Shaved Asiago, Raspberry Dressing”
“Ballad in Plain Cheese” ($7)
“Ill Melt With You” ($12)
Description: “Warm Brie with Walnuts Berries and Crackers”
Their 10th anniversary celebration continues through the summer featuring each of these new dishes. They also provide live entertainment every night but during the summer months, they open up their “Summer Stage” for a much more intimate environment filled with warm weather vibes.
If You Go: The winery is open Friday (12 pm-11 pm), Saturday (11 am-11 pm) and Sunday (11 am-6pm) all year long where you can sample six of their wines for $5 until 6 pm daily, and enjoy catch some live music every night.
