Ginger is the secret ingredient to transform martinis into standout drinks when paired with powerhouse flavors like blood orange, grapefruit, and rosemary.

Have you hopped aboard the ginger bandwagon yet? The spice that originated in Asia is now also grown in parts of Africa and the Caribbean and has long been hailed for its medicinal properties. It is used to combat nausea, aid digestion, and improve circulation, among other things. So you can feel good about indulging in one of these soon-to-be-classic cocktails. Bottoms up!

Ginger Blossom Martini

1 jigger gin
½ oz elderflower liqueur
½ oz house-made ginger simple syrup
1 jigger fresh pink or red grapefruit juice

 Suggested garnish:
Candied grapefruit wedge or fresh grapefruit twist

Rosemary Bliss Cocktail

1 jigger vanilla vodka
½ oz ginger liqueur
1 jigger pear nectar
½ oz house-made rosemary simple syrup
Splash of fresh lime juice

Shake well over ice; strain and serve over fresh ice in a rocks glass.

Suggested garnish:
Fresh rosemary sprig or skewered candied ginger

Twisted Thai Martini

1 jigger of house-infused Thai chili vodka
½ oz ginger liqueur
1 jigger fresh blood orange juice
½ oz house-made sour mix
Splash of house-made ginger simple syrup

Suggested garnish:
Thinly sliced blood orange ribbon — or add Thai chilies, if you dare!
