Boice Brothers Dairy Company sure knows how to party — we can’t think of a better way to commemorate their 100-year anniversary than with the world’s longest ice cream sundae.
On July 20, the Kingston company — which first opened its doors in 1914 and has since sold countless hormone- and antibiotic-free dairy and ice cream products — builds the gigantic dessert. And we do mean gigantic: It has to be at least 1,251 feet long to break the current record. Taking place at the city’s T.R. Gallo Park, the celebration begins at 12 p.m. and includes live entertainment, all sorts of food, and games.
