Pleasantville Farmers’ Market

With enforced social distancing, the wearing of face masks, pre-ordering, and other measures, many of the Hudson Valley’s farmers’ markets have taken on a whole new look and feel this season in order to protect patrons and vendors.
Some, including Beacon Farmers’ Market, are reserving time for immunocompromised shoppers. Others, like Hudson Farmers’ Market, have relocated to two locations to make social distancing easier. To shorten the time of exposure, Kingston Farmers’ Market has begun a 30-minute time-slot system.
“We feel it’s more important than ever to support your regional food system and local businesses, especially related to agriculture and healthy eating,” says Laura Wilson Crimmins, market manager of Kingston Farmers’ Market. “Strong local connections reinforce our sustainability as a community and the success and well-being of all.”
Whether you’re stopping by your local market or planning to visit one on a road trip, make sure to consult their websites to review COVID precautions.
