In this quaint spot, you’ll find only about a dozen tables and a small bar. But the relaxed atmosphere — and an inventive menu of Northern Italian cuisine — keeps patrons coming back. Many choose to start off with a favorite appetizer, such as the baby octopus on a bed of white cannellini beans and wilted arugula.
Owner Yoshi Rizzo is well-known for her desserts. Try the signature phyllo napoleon (shown) — delicate phyllo dough layered with pastry cream, fresh berries, whipped cream, and finished with orange clear caramel. It’s a satisfying way to end a fine meal.
