Simple but elegant is the style that chef and co-owner Jessica Winchell (shown) and husband/business manager Brad Winchell have created here. Dark wainscoting contrasts nicely with the white linen tablecloths in the cozy three rooms that comprise this 60-seat eatery. Winchell grows many of her own ingredients, and uses all-natural, hormone-free meats and fish in her recipes.

As you might expect, the flavors are wide-ranging; Alaskan halibut, for example, is served with a sweet-yet-spicy peach jalapeno salsa. Winchell is also known for her inventive drink mixtures, such as the Sun-Kissed Flower: Gray Goose orange vodka combined with a hint of fresh- squeezed orange juice and elderflower essence.
