A sweet shop in Beacon’s food hall, a brick-oven pizza eatery in Florida, and delightful donut spot in Kingston make the month delicious.
Toasted is Liberty Street’s newest hot spot. Pop in to this artisan bistro for a delicious sandwich or salad, and stay for the company. The fried chicken sandwich is a standout. Served on a toasted baguette and topped with only Sriracha mayo and pickles, it’s “delicious yet simple,” — just like the shop’s motto promises. 845.595.8484

One of Poughkeepsie’s favorite bartenders, Erin O’Neill, is set to open a new bar at the former Nic L Inn Cellar Market and Bistro on Water Street. Erin O’Neill’s Pub & Grill is right next to the Walkway Over the Hudson, near the Hudson River. Opening date and the menu are still a secret, but with O’Neill involved, we’re sure it will be good!
The owners of The Anchor restaurant in Kingston have turned a former laundry room into a donut bakery. Seriously! Hole in the Wall Donuts serves up handmade, old fashioned sour cream donuts in a variety of exciting and unexpected flavors like salted caramel with black Hawaiian sea salt, blueberry lemonade glazed with candied lemon peel, and even dill pickle.
