Housed in a cute, small red building on Route 9G, this new establishment (it opened last year) is quickly being touted as a go-to place to get your homemade ice cream fix. There are almost 30 flavors to choose from, with everything from the standard vanilla and chocolate to peanut butter, as well as coffee chocolate chunk with almonds. Although it’s the selection of wine ice creams — how about a scoop of dark chocolate strawberry Pinot noir? — that has everyone buzzing. Customers can indulge in such retro treats as egg creams ($2.25-2.75) and ice cream floats ($3.60-3.95), or one of 11 deluxe sundaes ($5.50-5.95).

But it’s not just ice cream; the eatery opens at 10 a.m. every day and serves up good (and well-priced) grub all day long. Take the Succulent Steak Sandwich — prime cut sirloin, served on a long roll with American cheese and smothered with sautéed peppers, onions, and a hint of garlic; it comes in at $7.95. Or try the Bellissima Bruschetta Sandwich. Tomatoes, fresh basil, and fresh mozzarella are served on grilled garlic bread for just $6.95. Guests can also enjoy wraps ($6.95-7.95), burgers and ’dogs ($2.25-8.95), and seafood ($6.95-12.95). 845-229-9866; www.clancyscafeandcreamery.com
