Across the region, culinary hotspots are making Mother’s Day extra-special with curated packages designed to remind mom that even though she might not be able to celebrate with loved ones in person, she still deserves a little something to make her day.
If The ’76 House’s mouthwatering menu is any indication, Mother’s Day is going to be an unforgettable affair. The to-go dinner spread is available for curbside pickup or delivery from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the holiday, and all orders must be placed before 12 p.m. on May 9. For $54 per person, diners savor chilled spring pea soup to start, then move onto filet of sole, asparagus prosciutto bundles, and, for dessert, Tahitian vanilla crème brûlée.
New Windsor’s event venue serves Mother’s Day to-go packages this year. Orders run $99.95 plus tax and serve four people. Everything must be called in by 1 p.m. on May 8, with pickup on May 9 from 1-4 p.m. As far as the food goes, the special menu begins with very berry crepes for breakfast and sparkling wine with quiche and pasta salad for brunch. Dinner brings filet mignon with twice-baked potatoes, veggies, and fresh fruit cobbler to round out the food-tastic celebration.

The restaurant known for its feel-good food keeps it classic for Mother’s Day with a menu of delights like lobster mac and cheese with Vermont cheddar and French brie, a mushroom asparagus skillet with fresh ricotta, and a lemon cake with raspberry mousse filling. Blu Pointe brings its go-to Mother’s Day menu to Hudson Valley homes with its menu of dinner and drinks. Order online, then pick up customized meals from 1-3 p.m. on the holiday. Blu Pointe’s menu features select wines by the bottle, along with Sunday cocktails by the quart (hello espresso martini!). The dinner menu is just as delightful, with both individual and family-style entrees, along with soups, sides, and desserts.
Mother’s Day is a customizable affair thanks to Café Monocle’s two-, four- and six-person menus. Mom might want to break out the pearls as she indulges on beignets, maple cinnamon Greek yogurt parfaits, and angel food French toast. Tutta Bella sticks with springtime staples for Mother’s Day, with a menu that includes delights like zucchini blossoms with ricotta and pan-seared jumbo scallops over black truffle orzo. Call ahead to order.
The Piermont market thinks outside of the box with scrumptious brunch baskets for Mother’s Day. Packages range in price and theme depending on what type of celebration mom prefers. The Backyard BBQ Basket, which runs $14.95 per person, is ideal for picnicking at home. The Brunch Basket, at $18.95 per person, includes bagels, quiche, and fresh-baked muffins. Last but not least, the My Mom’s the Best Basket, which costs $28.95 per person, does it all with lobster rolls, filet mignon, chocolates, and more. There’s a minimum of four people per basket order.
