Sewing in Kingston Opening Day

May 7 @ 11:30 am - 5:00 pm

Free

The Reher Center for Immigrant Culture and History is opening Sewing in Kingston, a brand-new, significant local history exhibition on Saturday May 7th. Join us for a full day of free, family-friendly tours and activities including: gallery tours for adults and children (available in English and Spanish), crafting activities inspired by the multicultural dolls featured in the exhibition, local food, and more!

This event is free and open to all, thanks to our Presenting Sponsors Ulster County Tourism and the Bienstock family and Stitch Sponsors, Barbara and Joe Cohen, Co-Work Kingston, Herzog’s Home & Paint Centers, Miller & Kahn, and RUPCO. Spanish-language tours are made possible through the support of the Hudson Valley Foundation for Youth Health, and additional funding is provided by the Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area.

Sewing in Kingston is made possible thanks to significant support from the Coby Foundation. Associated public programs are made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Humanities New York.
