Pleasant Valley Climate Smart Earth Day Program – Recycled Container For Gardening

FreeJoin the Pleasant Valley Climate Smart Committee for this special container gardening program at Pleasant Valley Library. You’ll learn an easy way to save money and help mitigate climate change, by making a recycled container from a cardboard box and garbage bag, in which you can grow your own vegetables or flowers. This planter can be used on your deck, patio or front yard – wherever you have 5-6 hours of sun.
Recycled container gardening gives the benefit of fresh vegetables or flowers, and is also great for apartment dwellers or home renters.
Please bring a medium-sized cardboard box, such as a liquor/wine box – other materials will be provided.
