Hudson, NY – 510 Warren Street Gallery is happy to present a show of paintings by Marilyn Orner titled “Seductive Nature.” The show starts on Friday, July 1st and continues until Sunday, July 31st. The artist will be present for Hudson’s Second Saturday Gallery Crawl from 6 to 8 pm on Saturday, July 11th. We invite you to visit and meet the artist.
A sumptuous vision of the natural world is presented in the new works on view by Marilyn Orner. The works show the artist’s interpretation of an alluring moment of nature’s impermanence. All the paintings originate from an actual place. The artist takes liberties with the setting and the color in order to be true to the feeling of that moment, rendering the feeling into the elements of earth and sky and water. Some of the paintings are complicated by subtly referencing the presence of humans. Some veer more towards abstraction. And some are simply a place. Come visit these painted places.
