Arts Midhudson Art Call for I.D.E.A. Black Lives Matter

April 8 - May 1

Free

Hello! For our fellow artists in the Hudson Valley, we are currently having a Art Call for I.D.E.A. Black Lives Matter
In partnership with New Horizon Resources, Inc., Arts Mid-Hudson (AMH) would like to include your art in this growing traveling exhibit. The impetus of I.D.E.A. (Inclusion Diversity Equity in America) is to reflect the thoughts and feelings of people of all abilities about the Black Lives Matter movement.

Currently, the exhibition includes paintings, collages, sculptures, murals, poetry, digital work, and an original piece of music. The traveling exhibit is composed of artwork from professional artists, high school students, organization employees, and others.

This collection will be exhibited in various locations throughout Dutchess, Ulster, Orange, and Westchester Counties (Poughkeepsie Library, Unison Art Center in New Paltz, Safe Harbors in Newburgh, Bethany Arts Community in Ossining, Ossining High School, and The Pocantico Center in Tarrytown) on May 19 – June 24th.
