ARTemis at Woodstock Art Exchange 9/0 from N00n to 5PM

September 10 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

“ARTemis” the Me Too pink virgin Greek hunter goddess and her faithful dog will be unveiled this weekend at Woodstock Art Exchange 9/10 from N00n to 5PM. Meet scraptor Dave Channon and take a free walking tour of over one dozen scraptures. A scrapture is a scrap metal sculpture that induces rapture.

Artemis was a super popular Greek God. Young and beautiful, virgin sworn to celibacy, Daughter of Zeus, twin sister of Apollo from a dubious union. Stayed in the forest with pixies, hunted with dogs and “golden shafts”. Came to town only to midwife expectant mothers. Bad tempered! Turned a man into a deer just for accidentally seeing her naked. Then his own dogs attacked and ate him. Gave more than one persistent seducer the golden shaft. Burnt another for boasting! ARTemis was a Moon Goddess, NASA’s moon rocket is named after her, and she is a Patron Goddess of women’s rights and the natural environment.

This exhibit will be on public view 24/7 until further notice.

Contact Dave Channon at 845-688-2977 for personal appointment.
