Parking is available at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel in the Mid-Hudson Civic Center Parking Garage. Parking is also available across the street from the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel at a municipal lot. Parking for all Best of Hudson Valley® Party attendees will be complimentary.

What is the Best of Hudson Valley®? The Best of Hudson Valley® is a celebration of the region’s finest emporiums and their spectacular culinary and creative talents as voted by the readers and editors of Hudson Valley Magazine.
What is the Best of Hudson Valley® Party? The Best of Hudson Valley® Party showcases more than 100 winners in categories including: best new restaurant, steak, seafood, wine list, romantic dining, salon/spa, car dealer, radio station and many more. So, it will be a party like no other where the food, drink, entertainment…everything will be “The Best”.
How does Hudson Valley Magazine choose Best of Hudson Valley® Winners? Generally, each of the categories (new spa, sushi, etc.) has two winners. Readers’ Choice winners are picked democratically – whichever takes the most votes from our online ballot wins. The editors pick winners based on months of research. During this process we pay for all meals and services, and we do our research anonymously.
Don’t your advertisers automatically win? Absolutely not. Best of Hudson Valley® results are entirely based on your ballots and our research; there is no connection between advertisers and winners. Period. Although some winners may later choose to advertise, or happen to be advertisers, advertising is in no way a requirement. Sure, we could make a few folks happy by “selling” winners, but in the long run we’d lose a lot more than we’d gain – like our credibility.
Where is the Party held? At the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel in Poughkeepsie, NY.
How big is the Party? We have more than 70 displays and expect over 1,500 guests.
When is the Party? Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 5:30pm. Things wrap up around 9:00 pm.
What about bad weather? Is there a rain date? Everything is held inside. The event is held rain or shine.
How much does it cost? General Admission passes are $50.
How can I purchase passes? They can be purchased online, click here.
Do I need to bring money? Everything is included in the ticket price. Vendors are not selling anything. This is a party! We do, however, have a Chinese Raffle that benefits a local charity. Many Best of Hudson Valley® winners donate items that will be raffled off throughout the evening.
I purchased my passes. How do I get them? All guests must present a print out of their ticket receipt/confirmation in order to be granted admission to the 2013 Best of Hudson Valley® Party. All party guests must enter the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel through the Front Lobby and check in at the Guest Registration Table.
Can I bring my child? We do not recommend children attend this event, as alcohol will be served.
What about parking? The 2013 Best of Hudson Valley® Party will be held at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel at 40 Civic Center Plaza, Poughkeepsie, New York. Parking for all Best of Hudson Valley® Party attendees will be complimentary in the hotel parking garage.
What should I wear? Cocktail attire is encouraged.
