New Girl (Tuesday 9 p.m., FOX)
Before he was stealing scenes from Zooey Deschanel as Schmidt in New Girl, Max Greenfield was cutting up in Dobbs Ferry — where he reportedly had a Saturday Night Live-themed bar mitzvah.

Arrow (Wednesday 8 p.m., CW)
The connection to this comic-book-based CW series is only behind-the-scenes, but the show was developed by Greg Berlanti, a native of Rye. He was also an executive producer on this summer’s Political Animals — based ever-so-loosely on the life of Chappaqua neighbor Hillary Clinton (and a show I quite enjoyed).
Guys with Kids (Wednesday 8:30 p.m., NBC)
Another behind-the-scenes connection in this dad-centric sitcom, but this time from a famous face: Saugerties’ Jimmy Fallon is an executive producer. Maybe he’ll have time to take a break from Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to show off his goofy grin on the set.

Suburgatory (Wednesday 8:30 p.m., ABC)
No stars from our area grace this show, but if it seems eerily familiar, it’s because the fish-out-of-water sitcom is supposed to be set in the suburbs north of New York City.

Nashville (Wednesday 10 p.m., ABC)
The half-All About Eve, half-Country Strong melodrama has Palisades native Hayden Panettiere playing a young country-music ingénue. Show them your Rockland County twang, Hayden!
Community (Friday 8:30 p.m., NBC)
Though there were reports that Bedford Corners’ Chevy Chase repeatedly clashed with series creator Dan Harmon on this community-college-set sitcom, it’s actually Harmon who was ousted, giving us another year of Chase as the prickly Pierce Hawthorne.

The Good Wife (Sunday 9 p.m., CBS)
Not only was series star Julianna Margulies born in Spring Valley, she attended Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville. No wonder she has such a sharply honed legal mind.
The Celebrity Apprentice (Sunday 9 p.m., NBC)
Another season, another chance for Bedford’s Donald Trump to amass a random collection of notable names and yell at them about how to run a business.
666 Park Avenue (Sunday 10 p.m., ABC)
This supernatural soap is a bevy of locals: Not only does it star Chappaqua’s Vanessa Williams — whom we’ve been accustomed to seeing on our TV on Sunday nights — it co-stars Suffern’s Dave Annable as Henry Martin, the new co-manager of the (possibly haunted?) building, and Yonkers’ Erik Palladino as the building’s doorman.
