Daniel Craig, Rachel Weisz Secret Wedding Near Stone Ridge, Ulster County (Upstate, Not NYC), NY; Arrested Development’s Jessica Walter (Lucille Bluth) in Pound Ridge, NY

It’s come to our attention (via ET-Online and Us Weekly) that, last week, current James Bond actor Daniel Craig, 43, and Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, 41 (The Constant Gardener, The Mummy) — two actors we totally dig, by the way — got married in a small, private ceremony in “upstate” New York on Wednesday, June 22. Now, we know that 90 percent of New York is considered upstate to some people, so can anyone narrow this down? Did they pull a Chelsea Clinton and get married Hudson-side in Rhinebeck? The whole thing sounds very low-key and cool.

UPDATE: With respect to our local celebs’ privacy, we can confirm Ms. Weisz owns a house near Stone Ridge and, sources report, she and Mr. Craig tied the knot nearby. (Calls to the Depuy Canal House — a popular venue for local stars and wedding receptions — went unanswered due to “renovations.” Hm…)

In true Bond fashion, those in attendance included just four people (besides the newlyweds): Craig’s 19-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, Ella; Weisz’s five-year-old son Henry, also from a previous marriage (to Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky); and two others (yet unidentified).

PHOTO: Ms. Weisz was spotted strolling Partition Street in Saugerties (Ulster County, NY) with her son Henry on Monday, June 20, 2011 — two days prior to her wedding with Mr. Craig. According to our friends at DIG and Partition Street Wine Shop, Weisz and Craig dined at Love Bites Café, also on Partition Street.

In other news:

Though most people might recognize Jessica Walter from Play Misty for Me or one of her many stage roles, I know her almost exclusively as Lucille Bluth from Arrested Development. And I love her so much in that role that I’d be a little disappointed to find out that she wasn’t a boozy, eye-rolling lady of leisure likely to say something like, “I’d rather be dead in California than alive in Arizona.”

Which is why I was a little nervous to read the New York Times’ “Sunday Routines” column that featured Walter. But I figured I had to — even if it shattered my illusions that Walter is Lucille Bluth — because a large part of her Sunday routine involves going to her second home in Pound Ridge. (She lives most of the time on the Upper West Side.) One thing that is a little Bluth-like about her: She calls Pound Ridge “the country” (ha!).

“When we hit the Merritt Parkway and everything’s green, there’s this big sigh of relief; the stress just goes away,” she tells the paper. “It’s like when you see the ocean.

“We’ll stop at Scott’s Corners Market for something casual,” she continues, “a cooked chicken, or maybe some meatballs and a salad, and we’ll make pasta when we get home. The house is on three acres, all deer-fenced, so Reggie [her dog, a release from Guiding Eyes] probably goes in and out 10 times in the first hour. After dinner we’ll watch PBS or HBO or read. Just relax.”

That sounds like a Westchester weekend to me!

The Times featured Walter because she’s currently appearing as Mrs. Evangeline Harcourt in the Tony-winning revival of Anything Goes. If you’re interested, you can purchase tickets through the show’s Web site, www.anythinggoesonbroadway.com.
