Evelyn Kanter, who co-wrote the “Best New Restaurants,” knows whereof she eats. She’s the author of Eating the
Rhinebeck resident Jan Greenberg, who co-wrote this month’s “Best New Restaurants,” always brakes for farmers’ markets. She’s the author of Hudson Valley Harvest: A Food Lover’s Guide to Farms, Restaurants, and Open-Air Markets. A regular contributor to this magazine, she also writes for Food Arts and the National Culinary Review, as well as for Gastronomica and Executive Travel. Her work has been recognized by the New York State Agricultural Society and by the Association of Food Journalists.
