Ensure a no-fuss guest list when mailing your RSVP cards with this quick and easy trick

Dear readers: I’m constantly amazed with the little tricks that people come up with when planning a wedding. See below for one of my favorite tips.

A Hudson Valley Bride asks: “Because I’ve heard of this happening before, I’m really concerned about what to do when an RSVP comes back without the guest’s name on it. What’s the best way to ensure that this doesn’t happen?”

The Wedding Guru says: Here’s a very simple trick that works: As your address your invitations, write a tiny number on the inside flap of the RSVP card. Record that number to the corresponding name on your guest list. If an RSVP comes back without a name, you can simply refer to your list and you’ll know who the sender is!
