This month’s Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon Festival and the Lower Hudson Valley Craft Beer Festival pair beer with plenty of other goodies

Taking place on June 21, the Beer, Bourbon, and Bacon Festival features 23 breweries (three local notables include Mill House Brewing Company, Sloop Brewing, and Rushing Duck Brewing Company) and four distilleries offering samples. Bacon is available in almost every form imaginable — cupcakes, tacos, tamales, even bacon-infused beers. Live music and a pig roast provide entertainment throughout the day.

If you go...

The fun starts at 2 p.m. (VIP tickets get you in at 1 p.m.). General admission $45 in advance; $55 at the door; VIP $100 (in advance only); designated driver $10. Dutchess County Fairgrounds, Rhinebeck. www.beerbourbonbacon.com

The Lower Hudson Valley Craft Beer Festival on June 7 features more than 50 breweries — including local favorites Keegan Ales, Captain Lawrence, Newburgh Brewing, and Defiant Brewing. The fest includes two sessions (1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.) of beer samplings and food tastings; attendees can keep their four-ounce tasting glass (or “gill”).

If you go...

VIP tickets get you an extra hour of tasting as well as a bigger selection of food. General admission $50 in advance, $60 at the door; VIP $80, designated driver $10. Growler & Gill Craft Beer Shoppe, Nanuet. www.lhvcraftbeerfest.com
