It’s come to our attention (via ET-Online and Us Weekly) that, last week, current James Bond actor Daniel Craig, 43, and Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, 41 (The Constant Gardener, The Mummy) — two actors we totally dig, by the way — got married in a small, private ceremony in “upstate” New York on Wednesday, June 22. Now, we know that 90 percent of New York is considered upstate to some people, so can anyone narrow this down? Did they pull a Chelsea Clinton and get married Hudson-side in Rhinebeck? The whole thing sounds very low-key and cool.

UPDATE: With respect to our local celebs’ privacy, we can confirm Ms. Weisz owns a house near Stone Ridge and, sources report, she and Mr. Craig tied the knot nearby. (Calls to the Depuy Canal House — a popular venue for local stars and wedding receptions — went unanswered due to “renovations.” Hm...)

In true Bond fashion, those in attendance included just four people (besides the newlyweds): Craig’s 19-year-old daughter from a previous marriage, Ella; Weisz’s five-year-old son Henry, also from a previous marriage (to Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky); and two others (yet unidentified).

PHOTO: Ms. Weisz was spotted strolling Partition Street in Saugerties (Ulster County, NY) with her son Henry on Monday, June 20, 2011 — two days prior to her wedding with Mr. Craig. According to our friends at DIG and Partition Street Wine Shop, Weisz and Craig dined at Love Bites Café, also on Partition Street.
